The Embry family has been involved in the real estate, land development, construction and banking for over sixty years in Atlanta. It started with four brothers after WWII. They helped change Atlanta and how Atlantans lived. From building one of the first Planned Unit Developments, Embry Hills, to community banking, such as Embry National Bank.
Mike Embry has been involved in real estate all his life. As a teenager, Mike worked for his father and uncles in all facets of the real estate business. After Dekalb College, Mike worked for Metro Development, one of the largest apartment developers in the Southeast. At the age of 24 Mike set out on his own in real estate, development and construction.
Mike has developed thousands of units in the Atlanta area, focusing mainly in town. Many of the areas he worked in had been devastated by years of neglect, crime and drugs. Working with homeowners and politicians, Mike helped these areas become vibrant, increase property values and made it a safer place to live and work.
